I’m no longer officially taking photos professionally (you can read more about that here) - having said that I’m a sucker for love, romance and beautiful moments, which means from time to time, for the 'right couple' I've been known to come out of retirement.
Are you a little confused about the 'right couple' comment above? Let me explain.
Weddings to me are sacred - those that get to attend them have the privilege of witnessing two people make some incredible life time promises to each other.
That to me is what a wedding is about.
A sacred moment in time where you publicly make a promise to your best friend in front of your family and friends.
The one necessary ingredient for a magical wedding is the way you look at each other.
Your stunning dress, the flowers, the invitations, the shoes, the whimsical little details, the beautiful venues, the gifts for your guests, these are all gorgeous and I can't tell you how much I enjoy documenting them. But what makes my heart skip a beat and bubble up with excitement is the way he looks at you when you walk down that aisle; the way you excitedly kiss him just before he walks off to say hi to your grandma after the ceremony; the way your hand fits so perfectly into his; the way he gently touches your face when no one is looking; the way you snuggle into his shoulder as he is talking to his friends; the way you both forget everyone else in the room when you dance.
These are the unnoticed moments of your wedding day that make my heart smile and I truly delight in capturing.
So if you are a fan of my work and have a crush on your fiancé, you're more than welcome to send me an email!
